The location is ideal - right by the city centre for all amenities and short distance to public transport if needed. We went for Essen Spiel and Messe Essen was walkable in 40 minutes. Hotel was very nice, modern, spacious. The staff were very friendly, attentive and professional. They were very helpful in answering all our questions and queries. The rooms were clean and modern and nicely presented. The king sized bed is huge and comfortable. Heated radiators in the shower were a bonus. The breakfast is very good and a good spread. Nice ambience in the bar. Big bonus, if you hang the 'do not clean' sign outside the door you get a free drink voucher to use in the bar - excellent idea.

He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived. Not only did he make me feel immediately at home, but he also went above and beyond by upgrading my room. I liked the location. The facilities were also very nice. In our family room there was enough space for adults and two kids. Room looked very well kept. It tends to be a bit noisy depending on where your room is located from the street. The breakfast was also good food and fresh. The staff was friendly i made request by emailing them and they honored them. It was also a short walk from the hotel to the Christmas market if you like to visit. Whe had a nice stay and the kids were also happy about it

Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and lights were ok, but i will always miss more lights. Working light at table was fine. Garage is too small but we were early so we find a place to park the car. Rest of part of hotel were nice, clean with an industrial look that we like. Bathroom was very nice and everything was usefull. I found more light at bathroom than at bedroom. location is nice, just at downtown.

12 min walk from Essen Hauptbahnhof, very easy to find. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and a nice choice of food at breakfast. Hotel was very quiet (inside as well as outside). We were on the third floor and didn’t hear a thing from outside, such as traffic noise or people. Easy walking distance to main shopping area (5-6 mins), plenty of eateries and bars nearby.
